Porite Automobile Parts Industrial Park Settled in Development Zone

On 16th July, Japan Porite Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone that Porite would increase their investment up to 1300 million dollars to build a industrial park for automobile components. The project will promote the development of the automobile parts industry. Yangzhou Secretary Xie Zhengyi attended the signing ceremony and met the president of Japan Porite Co., Ltd., Kikuchi maki and his group.

In the meeting, Xie expressed thanks and admiration for the contribution Porite made to Yangzhou’s economic and social development after it settled down in the Development Zone for over 20 years. He said that in recent years Yangzhou automobile industry development has undergone revolutionary change. Volkswagen, JAC, Weichai Yaxing and other vehicle projects settled in succession and a number of auto parts project coming together which formed a good situation of mutual support, mutual cooperation and common development. Yangzhou is the hometown of Jianzhen and has witnessed the history of friendly exchanges between China and Japan. It is significant for Japanese companies including the Prorite company to invest in Yangzhou. We welcome Prorite company continue to invest in Yangzhou and expect to see better cooperation between the two sides.
