Yangzhou is famous for its Huaiyang cuisine. Its specialties are renowned both at home and aboard and include: “the Lion’s Head Meatballs”, “Yangzhou Fried Rice” and “Wensi Tofu”. Yangzhou also offers its delicious cuisine at its prestigious and famous Teahouses, such as Fuchun and Yechun, which have hundreds of years of history. Wangyue Road, Huaihai Road and Dongguan Street are all famous for their cuisine and for the variety of special local snacks.
